Story: A suspense thriller about a CIA officer who is assigned to reopen an old investigation into a tragic airline hijacking. In the process he is reunited with a former colleague and lover who has retired to Carmel.
Scenery: The opening credits show Chris Pine driving south on Highway 1 and across Bixby Bridge en route to Carmel (which is actually in the opposite direction). Soon after he is shown driving up and down Ocean Avenue in Carmel. Then there is a scene on Carmel Beach. An exterior shot of a fictitious restaurant called Vin de Vie was digitally added to the Northwest corner of Carmel Point where a well-known house still stands unscathed. Near the end a main character is shown walking along Scenic Road on Carmel Point at night, with street lights added to the scene. There are also a few short scenes at Del Monte Center in Monterey.
