Who wants to be a local? Almost everyone. Mr. Toy hears regularly from people who say they want to move to the Monterey Peninsula. As much as we'd like to accommodate them, there just isn't enough room for everybody. In order to weed out the riff-raff, we've created this qualifying quiz.
For purposes of this quiz, the term "Monterey Peninsula" refers to the area from the northern Seaside border south to Carmel Highlands, and up Carmel Valley. Yeah, technically, that covers more than the actual Peninsula, but it covers all the communities that are embraced by the Monterey Peninsula's cultural sphere. Whatever the heck that means.
